Buck: "Dadgum, babe! Whut wus that fer?"
She puts her face two inches from his and bellows.
Wife: "Why do you have a peesa paper in yore pocket with 'Daisy' written on it??"
Buck (turnin his head from her breath): "Whaaat?"
Wife: "Ya better tell me!" she growls, raising the pan again.
Buck: "Awww, c'mon, darlin, don't you recollect two weeks ago when I done went to the hoss races? 'Daisy' was the name of the hoss I betted on!"
She glares at him, half satisfied, and apologizes for whackin him.

Couple days later, watchin the sun go down again, Buck sits there. BAM!! There she stood again... dang, what a face!
Buck: "Yowww! Gol dernit!! Whut's that fer this time?"
Wife: "Your horse called!"
