Jurassic Park
Please bullet point the differences between Jurassic Park the book and Jurassic Park the movie?
This question is based on Michael Crichton's first Jurassic Park book and movie.
The one big thing that I remember is that some scenes got left out of the first movie.
There is a scene where the scientist is hiding behind a waterfall with the kids, and a T-rex is trying to find them.
Another scene is in the big aviary where the pterosaurs (winged dinos) are. (They stuck something like that into the third movie.)
Finally, in the book, the army of Costa Rica firebombs the island and kills all the critters, but not in the movie.
Oh, yeah---in the book, some small dinos get to the mainland right at the beginning of the story and the police are trying to figure out what is killing people.
That's about all I can remember.
