What is wrong with my Glowworm boiler?

I have a Glowworm Compact 'electronic' combi boiler. Since we turned it onto hot water only for the summer we have had a number of problems, including
1) radiator heating up (despite being set to hot water only)
2) the hot water continues to heat after the demand for water has been turned off - as a result we get some dangerously hot water coming out of our taps
3) probably as a result of this hot water the boiler sometimes trips out and we get a red light on the Control Panel and have to re-set it
4) we get a clicking noise, like a switch clicking on and off - unable to decide what it wants to do - and at the same time the 'hot water only' indicator light flickers on and off.

as a Gloworm engineer I have a good idea what is wrong with this boiler. I do not agree that an electrician will be better than a gas engineer. If an electrician changes the pcb these need setting up for ignition pressure, maximum and minimum pressure and testing for lockout non of which an electrician is allowed to do. Also fan failure would need to be checked for.

A lot of the replies are on the wrong track about the main fault here, although once this is fixed there may be ancillary faults. That is why a fixed price repair with Gloworm might be the best bet.

Whenever I work on these and have not been worked on for a while I usually change hot water membrane and manifold top. Flow membrane and top and if necessary microswitches.

In this case at least one of your faults is likely to be that water has leaked through the pin and got into the hot water microswitch holding it on when there is no demand.

They are prone to the loss of water pressure switch jamming as well so when it is fixed this should be checked and changed if necessary.

In other words you need a lot of small parts changing as well as anything major . This would all be covered with a fixed repair.
