what is the name of that air traffic control tool, a set of plastic plates with flight numbers on?

The air traffic controler would arrange them in order of priority, and dispose of one once the flight is securely landed?

Strip holders sounds like the most plausible answer. The name when I was working "traffic" where called flight progress strip holders. 30 plus years ago at Centers, "Shrimp Boats" where used. These were clear plastic, small rectangular, with a diagonal edge on one end. When the computer went down, it was necessary to go from digitize radar to broadband radar.
