Google Chrome, Firefox, Uttorent.?

Recently my google chrome stopped working, and i would get a Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error. Then I downloaded firefox as an alternative, but that also stopped working after a few days and will not connect to the internet.

This is an old problem with Chrome damaging IE settings.

"Yes, Chrome does seem to tie into IE settings. I was receiving this error too, Chrome would not show pages nor IE...but FF would. In IE Tools>Internet Options>Connections (TAB)>Lan Settings> "Use a proxy server for your lan...." was checked. I unchecked that setting, and ensured that "Automatically detect settings" was checked and now all is back to normal and chrome is functioning normal. Hope this helps someone."
