How do America percives black women?
I've noticed when i am at work or at a social scene ,my white friends and co- workers always assume i am going to act this way or that way . They usually assume i am going to act like a stereo typically black girl, meaning i am going to talk loud, dance, or cause a scene .
I tell them not every black person is the same . I am very proud of my heritage and i understand that we are not all alike, but what does society think about us?

i'm black and i don't act all crazy ghetto talking all loud and rude and overweight and what not....
i see my self as the opposite of the black stereotype...
oh i can't dance either LOL
i listen to Post Hardcore Rock music
im kinda shy
and i definitely don't cause a scene
its kinda annoying when people expect you to be that way....but i guess people are stupid and believe everything they see on Tv ..and say "Oh okay thats how all the black women are"
