i sold an electrical item on ebay that was tested and working in good order before being sent out?

it was sent to cechoslovakia and it when the buyer received it he said it wasnt working . i dont wanna give him a refund coz hes been ******* rude . do i have to give him a refund as it was ok when i sent it so shouldnt it be down to the courier people .

did you know that some countries have different electrical systems and voltage at least in the U.S outlets are 120 volts idk about other countries. So there are 3 possible causes
1. voltage is higher in Czechoslovakia and fucked it up
2. voltage is lower in Czechoslovakia
3. they fucked it up while shipping.

That's why you have to pay insurance on every item you ship, and when selling an electronic you should specify the voltage it takes etc, however i know some electronic devices work with different voltages but im not an expert in that matter. If you have a return policy you should receive it and refund if the policy still available because it's not your fault neither his fault.
